If he and Ga part ways I could see it hapening. One of his outreach Ministries is in SoFla.

He's an UM alumni and got his coaching start there. Less pressure job I would assume.

Miami needs as close to a sure thing as possible. Lane Kiffin as head coach is about as a sure thing as head coach as Vanderbilt getting a sellout and 90% of the fans being Vandy fans.

I think Lane will get one but I can see Mario Cristobal, Saban's best recruiter and supposed next hot Assistant to get a HC gig potentially getting that job. He is well known in the Mia area and a former Cane. I'm sure it depends how much HC experience they are looking for. Wouldn't surprise me if Cristobal,Kiffin and Smart all ended up in HC gigs next year. Justin Fuentes will be another HC from a smaller school to get his shot at a bigger name school. Will be an interesting off season and I'm sure there will be more HC jobs opening up as well. I can Stoops from UK possibly upgrading. Then who knows what happens if the latest rumors about Brian Kelly,Kevin Sumlin and Jim Mora having NFL interest.

I live in Florida and I've never actually seen a Miami fan down here.

Kiffin would be a good hire. He can go back to cruitin' his homies up in Pahokee.
