I desperately hope Dobbs works out for the Vols in the long run. I look forward to seeing him play.

I think he's a dark horse of this class. I'm excited to see what he does in the orange and white game for starters!

Not necessarily. My level of excitement is not the same for every recruit.

Excitement is one thing, but as fans, we should desperately hope that every signee works out in the long run. I know it will never happen, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't hope that it does.

Kid's a rare bird. Aeronautical engineering and already has college credits. I bet he graduates in 3 years.

Contradicts our last qb, who rarely if ever listened to his parents, and is actually quoted as saying "his dads words go in one ear and out of the other". Good young man.

That last QB just performed very well in the combine, so you should support him too.

Tyler was talking about criticism no? Lots of kids are like that. You're taking that quote a bit far imo

Only been started 2 years in high school, makes crazy plays, had Harvard, Yale, and Princeton calling, has a strong work ethic instilled by good hard working parents to go along with natural ability and mental agility, this guy's gonna be a showstoppa!

That quote is indicative of his overall demeanor and attitude. Carried over on the playing field too. But once he gets drafted all will be well for him. Meanwhile, UT is still looking for a winner....

Why is that? Wouldn't it be wise to take constructive critiscim from your Dad...the one person on this planet that wants the most from his son to heart?

Oh... the all-important combine. I'd rather see a good performance against UA or UF, you know, the games important to Tennessee. Damn the combine, means little to me. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Agree Pimp...This clown with all the talent in the world got punked by UK...FRIGGIN UK... with a WR at QB because he had no heart and quit. Buh-bye Bray.

I think most people over look the claim that he mastered his high school's offense in a day. Not that it was as complex as the Vol's, but that's impressive. It shows that he is a for real smart kid. Not just someone who slips by the with amazing grades (it happens).
Oh and he can move.
Just what we need, a QB that can make smart plays and understand the ins/outs of the game and he can elude defenders.

Sounds like a great kid. Not gonna go overboard like some of these yokels and say he's the next Johnny Football because I don't think he is. However, he sounds like a breath of fresh air after getting stuck with that last clown. Plus, at least he's a dual threat QB and won't be a sitting duck in this new spread offense.

quit bashing bray everyone...you are not real fans period...if we had an actual defense this past season you would be sucking Bray's n&ts right now...

That being said...Dobbs looks good.

agreed, but after awhile you just have to let go a do what you have to do, It seems Tyler would rather throw bottles than do what you have to doI hope he does well....I doubt he is a VFL however

Hopefully Butch will convince him to major in sociology rather than engineering. Time to get real and win some ballgames!
