Good article on Riley Ferguson...

Amazes me to see the same people gloating over Worley are now drooling over Peterman.

What happened to Worley? Nothing, he's the go-to guy this year to start off with, if that changes Ill admit I was wrong; However, lets give him a chance with a proven coaching staff, not the infections that we just got rid of.

I have to think it's a toss up between Dobbs and Ferguson. Ferguson's upside is that he REFUSES to lose. Dobbs, on the other hand, seems to be unbelievably smart. The fact he came here partly for our engineering program tells me he has a mathematical brain. Add that to the fact that he was and Elite11, he has the size, and he has the mobility... I think he will eventually be starting. But Worley and Petermen are more than qualified for the job.

I don't know why people are so quick to write off Worley, btw. The kid put up a whole freakin lot of yards, against really REALLY good competition.

I dline Riley a bunch , but I get the impression from CBJ interviews that Dobbs is his guy. Either way competition brings out the best Manning Clausen and Ainge all had competition.

Maybe the ones who like Dobbs as a starter just think that he is better. Maybe you just don't like Black qbs. You brought race into the argument. Not anybody else. Dobbs is bigger, faster , smarter and more highly ranked. Maybe that is why people like him.

Look at Riley offer list now look at Dobbs.

So who is more highly ranked?

Why should he get a chance and not Peterman?

Just questioning how its racist is racist, IMO
Just commenting on questioning how it's racist, by saying it's racist, is, well......racist, but then what I said would be too, because I am commenting on your comment about questioning how it's racist, or something like that.

I've said it from day 1 .......Riley is going to kill it.

I know you guys have a thing for black QBs, but give Riley a chance.

I have a thing for smart quarterbacks who throw lots of touchdowns, who have very few interceptions and fumbles and help their team score lots and lots of points.

Please explain how my statement is racist. TIA.

I think cause you wrote that we have a quarterback who is black. By pointing that out you clearly are saying that he's not white, therefore you are indeed a racist. You.... racist.

It is good that some perceive racism on Vol Nation, because without that perception this forum would be deader than 4 o'clock, whatever that means. This and the black coach thread are the only ones with any activity.

Why in the hell do so many people want us to start a true freshman at QB? I don't give a damn if it's Dobbs or Fergs, we start either one we are dead meat! And those of you wanting to start a true freshman QB in the SEC will be the first ones calling them busts.

I forgot about that saying. "Dead meat".

If you hit me with a spitball you're dead meat bro. :)
