The Virginia game is a game we are supposed to win. It is a nothing to gain kind of game. Very much like nc state.
At Lsu is next chance at a turning the season around kind of game
Virginia game is nothing like NCST game, Virginia is expected to be a tourney team and have a top 50 RPI. A win against a top 50 RPI team is what the committee classifies as a "good win", we need those.
Any team that lost at Green Bay isn't an impressive win for us at home. Sorry.
Again the Lsu game on the road is the next chance for any kind of redemption this team has
Edit: Aaron Rodgers was able to play that night for Green Bay. So Virginia isn't so bad after all!

So beating UNC wouldn't help us since they lost to Belmont, right?
Just fit everything to fit your agenda, love it.
Come march the committe defines a "good win", as a win over a top 50 RPI opponent. Virginia is expected to be one, Nc State is not, UVA would be a very solid win.
Virginia's best win is vs Missouri state(Rpi 82).
To suggest they are going to be a top 50rpi win when the committee looks at it is very optimistic.
Nothing at all impressive to me by looking at Virginia's résumé so far. In fact just the opposite considering they lost to the packers
That's what they're expected to be. Could the fall apart and be a team with an RPI over 100, it's possible, but unlikely imo.
When March roles around I'm pretty confident Virginia will look like a better team than Nc state.

If thats the case and NC St. has a worse rpi than Virginia along with UTEP setting around 198 rpi the last time I looked that would about equal the two losses to Georgia last year so why do you think the committee will let more than 3 or 4 in and we are one of them?
