Yep, the 'battered fan syndrome' is not a pretty thing to see. Don't understand the putting one's fear of their team losing ahead of wanting their team to have a chance at winning a conference championship.

People that like to compete never talk like that, imo.

Florida was more competitive against Bama than UT was. Neither team played good defense, but UT's offense was non-existent whereas UF put together some nice drives.

Well now you've gone and done it. There are many factors for the way both teams played. Injuries for instance. There is the fact that against bama, vols were without the majority of their offensive line, kamara got hurt in the first quarter, etc. Florida also had key injuries. Not to mention bama had more injuries against florida as I recall. That may affect how dominantly bama plays against Florida.

If we want to compare UF and UT this season, just look at the scoreboard for that game.

My point is not to compare which team was better based on they played Bama. My point is that ripping Florida for how they played Bama isn't a glass house from which UT fans should be throwing stones.

More competitive = lost by 38 instead of 39.

Nice drives in football are like nice drives in golf. If you can't score off of them, it meant nothing.

Appreciate the dig at UT, though. If I believed you actually had anything to do with Bama's success, it would sting. Instead, I find humor in the self-righteous blathering of a Bama troll who probably couldn't cover their kicker on a post route.

This sounds like a comparison of UF and UT based on how they played bama. You even compare how offenses performed. It's hard to draw from this that you were not comparing the two teams, seeing that is what you actually did. Writer?

My only point was UF's D didn't give up 54 points. Nothing more, nothing less.
