Don`t worry about offensive linemen. These linemen play both ways in highschool and defensive linemen make good offensive linemen. They are quicker and faster.

Ya but kids that have interest in SC sign if they get an offer. And 30 out of the 32 will be top 50 overall and top 3 in their positions...or some such ridiculousness.

When you are on top you have the luxury of playing the waiting game to some extent. I have noticed with a number of recruits that get a late offer from USC and USC jumps straight into their top 3. Must be nice.

The government is not that thorough with detail. He's obviously a spy of eastern descent. Thanks for the refreshing stats man.

When I was a kid, I loved math :geek: and UT football :pepper: (not in that order). Now that, for once in long, long time, I have a little free time on my hands, I can return to my first true loves...:air_kiss:

I was very surprised to not see Texas on the list. They must have been right out of the top ten.

Texas comes in at #16. Only Texas kids list them, maybe a couple from Oklahoma and Louisiana. I think even HS kids know that the Horns just scoop up the best local talent early and then they are done.

One of the things that occurred to me was, is this incredible early showing for the Vols a product of:

1) the Kiffin propoganda, advertising, and media manipulation extravaganza

2) you better get up early, stay up late, compete, Hummer, Red Bull....

Probably some of both, but mainly number 1.

They're on the other end, player bend area.

No, what about the Woodlands?

I meant about their football team. They beat Katy for the second straight year and are ranked in the top 50 in the country by Rivals. Supposedly their RB, Daniel Lasco, has an offer from Tennessee.

Oops, aren't we supposed to stay on topic in these threads? Although I am sure everyone back in Tennessee is fascinated. Should I post the score against College Park this Friday? It is a rivalry game!

Tennessee has offered 56 players in 2011 - the next closest of the schools I checked was South Carolina at 35. See the #of 2011 offers for the schools I checked below.
