All this sounds horrible!!! We assembled a great staff, don't want it tore apart so soon. Although Al Wilson would be nice. Losing a great recruiter like Thompson would hurt. Their's a reason he has been noted as the best recruiter in the nation at least once. Maybe twice?

I'd rather he had stayed to be honest. If he had stayed it would have been one more year max, so this years recruits would be looking at a guaranteed DC change next year. Now FSU has a chance to get an exciting young DC in there and actually build some momentum with recruiting.

And what if that "Exciting young DC" is one of our very own.....??? :scare:

Rumor is that Amato wants the DC job at FSU. Bowden still wants to have input in the hire. Seems to be a lot of turmoil down there right now, with some wanting Jimbo to make the hire, and Bowden not wanting to give up the power just yet.

Im not in the know about FSU...but i have heard that if it is up to Jimbo than he is doing some house cleaning...Amato included...
