People can say what they will about JP, but thanks to them, I saw many games that I otherwise would not have seen.

Having said that, they sucked.

The writer is dead on about the game times. Is there anything worse than having a ticket to a JP televised game in September?

I wonder if Lincoln Financial will still be considered local here? My money is on no.

Pretty much.

Got to watch several UT football and basketball games on there. Bummer.

It was my understanding, the game times and the coverage of SEC sports wasn't going to change, that just the name was changing. I think they are even gonna have the same announcers.

Atleast that's what the Lincoln Financial CEO said last year on a JP telecast.

Since 1992, JP's SEC football telecasts have been responsible for more early morning Southern drinking than any other single event not involving NASCAR. Their 11:30 a.m. Central telecast has led to more unshowered students, angry alumni and disappointed football fans than any telecast in the history of college football.

Well maybe we will all win then. The picture quality of JP games is just horrible with ABC coming in at a close second.

Sure hope so. Wouldn't mind if it was still a crappy telecast as long as they still (attempted to) televise games.

The Basketball schedule came out today with games on "LFS" which is Lincoln Financial Services Television so I would say that all is well with the noon telecasts.

This sucks. Tennessee plays on here alot. Will the games still be on? Or will we have to watch on ppv now? They always show the Vandy and Kentucky and another UT sec game on JP around here. Where will those be now???

I always have had a soft spot for JP games. I love me some good cheese.

I watched the KY TN from 1995 on Tuner South not to long ago. I remember watching that game 11 years ago. It almost gave me a Heart Attack.

JP Sports was the Boones Farm of wines. Although Boones and JP suck you could still get want you want while getting a headache for your troubles.
