Thanks! I opened your link and read it. Now, I can't even find it on Google. It is weird. I thought the article was going to state Gruden turned down UT. I am glad it didn't.

They have to be offered to reject us. Headline reads as if the big guns have already turned us down. Silly journalism...

This gruden thing is driving me crazy. One minute I read some posts in the omnipotent gruden thread that all but guarantee that gruden is a done deal. Then, I get hit with crap like this, and my problem is that I actually don't think hyams and adams are crazy...I think they're more legit than people on here give them credit for.

Best article IMO was Wes Rucker's article today on GOVOLS247. It says Dave Hart is quoted by high level boosters as saying that they will not have to wait long for the hire. It goes on to say that Gruden has been in contact with Juan Castillo for a coaching position on his staff.

Just a hunch but there seems to be an awful lot of talk about Bob Stoops over the past week. I didn't put much stock into at 1st but it sures seems to keep picking up. Sounds like sooner nation is ready for a divorce. Kind of reminds me Fulmer here and Mark Richt at GA. FYI... sooner fans, careful what you ask for, just saying....

I'm thinking we hear by Wednesday that Gruden is our coach but that's just my intuition speaking out loud!

Honestly I think this is a stock article. If Gruden officially turns us down the KNS adds one paragraph at the top and post the article immediately. I think it was an accident that it got posted. But if you read it, it is obvious that its missing an opening paragraph.

#1 Last Sunday, Hart said he would have an announcement in 2 weeks.

#2. The local radio station, here in Nashville, said that U.T. would announce it's new coach the evening prior to the S.E.C. Championship game.

#3. During the "Derik Dooley Show" today, Kesling said an announcement would be expected around December 10th.


No one knows when the announcement will be.....

This dumarse is just saying it is tooooo hard to recruit to UT lolol. This is a "global" country now i would say to the slow writer.

Here is the real deal. He doesn't know crap. I have read all of this before. Not saying I know because I don't. No one knows. We will just have to see. However, I believe Golden would be a miserable failure in the SEC!

Read the article.... now I've got a question.... on VN last week, there was a post that generated a lot of feedback about someone who works at a Knoxville Cadillac Dealer who handles cars for UT saying an Escalade had been ordered up to go to the airport on yesterday to pick up a VIP rumored to have something to do with the FB program.... did that happen and if so, does anyone know if that was a potential coaching candidate? Just wondering..... Some thought it was for Mr. R.A., but he was honored Saturday so we know it wasn't him. BTW, if this should be a new thread.... sorry.... Thanks VN!:detective::detective:
