I guarantee these recent commits do. I just googled our most recent commit and what was the 4th thing that came up? A 15 page thread bashing the kid. Can you imagine being a 17 year old making the biggest decision of your life to play for a team that you are pumped on and you find out the fan base already hates you and thinks you suck and that you’re not worthy of wearing “their” school colors cause you have two stars beside your name. Keep it up negavols and in two years you all will be wishing we had 77 players on scholarship!

it's true: there is a difference between measured, substantial criticism and hyperbolic, empty drool

the problem is (and it's a good problem) that this is a free message board and it's impossible to change people's minds and attitudes with a thread like this... in fact, it just calls more attention to the phenomena you are ranting about

I think this guy could really be a player...We always have done well in Hawaii...The negavols are a joke...I am in Seattle and they have to pull for the huskies...What a privilege to be a Tennessee fan..I have to be honest I hated seeing Fulmer leave and I hated seeing Majors leave and I hated seeing s_ith head leave...but I am damn proud to be a vol...as to bashing 17yr old kids you would have to be a pathetic person yourself...Todd US ARMY Ranger....Come bash me...

This is what happens when you have recruiting experts and star gazers on your teams site.They think they know whats best for the program and how it should be ran and thats why they are not coaches or recruiters.

Nope. Hat and others here assure us that recruits don't read these boards and it doesn't matter even if they do. After all, why should it matter to a recruit when fans run them down or the coach they've entrusted with their football future?

In all seriousness, recruits are more affirmed by a "kool-aid drinking" fanbase. These kids want to believe they'll be loved and that their decision was a good one.

Many of the same people complaining about recruiting are doing and have done everything they can here to ensure that more highly rated guys won't want to sign with UT. Who wants to sign with a coach that is hated and constantly run down by what seems like a significant portion of the fanbase?... especially if it isn't your homestate school?

Yeah I was thought negative posts of our new recruits should be deleted, but I guess everyone has a right to bash these kids even though they know nothing of them and they have pledged to our loved University, but whatever.

I wonder how many negavols are unemployed....It would be a great measuring stick..I also wonder if they are employed what there coworkers and bosses say about them....what a bunch of jokes..:crazy:
