In all seriousness, recruits are more affirmed by a "kool-aid drinking" fanbase. These kids want to believe they'll be loved and that their decision was a good one.

Many of the same people complaining about recruiting are doing and have done everything they can here to ensure that more highly rated guys won't want to sign with UT. Who wants to sign with a coach that is hated and constantly run down by what seems like a significant portion of the fanbase?... especially if it isn't your homestate school?

This board represents a portion, significant only because their voices are so easily heard. Don't believe opinions expressed here represent majority.

If recruits believe what they read here, believe this...

a) there is a LARGE portion of the fan base that reads these boards but choose to not actively contribute content.

b) there is a LARGE portion of the fan base that do not read these boards AT ALL.

Fans that fall into these categories are either a) mining for information or b) see no value.

While there are many good contributors on these boards... well let's just say the 80/20 rule is universal. Don't mean difference in opinion, but lack of thought in expressing.
