No. You painted your own picture in the nutjob head of yours and are now on a pedestal informing everyone else they're wrong and you're right, even though you weren't there. I'd like to say you aren't always on said pedestal, but the theme is strongly emerging with you over the past two years or so.

OP, out of curiosity how did he grab your finger? Did you have your hands at your side and he grabbed it or did you have a finger up in his face?

A Piggly-Wiggly on the border? I'm sure this happens at least once a week. Just wait until we beat them this year...I'd stay clear of all grocery marts, lingerie outlets and liquor stores (just use the drive up window for all three) that week.

I simply stated I think the op does not accurately reflect what happened. As was asked just a couple of posts above, how likely is it that only one finger was grabbed while the op was simply having a discussion?

I also said I find bragging about a fight with a person over college football in the piggly wiggly to be low rent. Is it wrong to believe that?

Of course when I pet my views in going to think they're correct. Who doesn't? Also noticed you failed to call out the ridiculous overreaction of those calling it a life or death self-defense moment. Not surprising since it seems a few are more focused on the poster rather than the post

Bored at work right now. I'm in the middle of doing our "State of the Branch" report that's due every month.

Someone on high got the bright idea during the State of the Union address to have our region do them every month. And it's not easy making **** up since most of our major events closed down three weeks ago.

Out of curiosity - what things set people off enough to get into a fight? Not talking about defending your kids against a predator but things which happen every day.

I nearly lost it at Reagan Airport in DC two weeks ago when two guys cut in front of a long line to get into a crowded restaurant. I called them out and we got into a toe to toe stare down. I was mad enough that if he had put his hands on me, it would have been on. Looking back, it was stupid, but at the time, I was really hot.

Pj... You're wrong saying that I'm bragging. I was bringing up a topic for discussion about a bammer doing what they do.! We got to talking football.... He grabbed me... I was pushing him off... He grabbed my index finger and tried to break it... It hurts like hell today... If you read through my posts... I am as easy going of a guy there is! But, when harm is inflicted upon me, I WILL absolutely bite back. Thanks to everybody taking up for me on this matter btw!
