A couple of kids from my high school went there to play and they all quit.
Jacob Aldridge, Joey Stephens, Daniel Pryne
One guy still plays there Duncan Williams
Clarksville is terrible so if the team sucks and coaches lie to you about what kind of people the are then it's not a good situation. Our running back was a drug dealer and the half brother of Trenton Hassell who plays for the T-Wolves. I just couldn't handle all the drug use and stuff that was going on there. I wish I went somewhere else but everything happens for a reason and I met my future wife at UT so I can't complain.

You seem bitter at your inability to make the grade at the Peay. I think its funny you come on a message board making personal attacks on a former player due to your lack of talent. If you couldn't make the starting rotation for a Non-Scholarship program at the time,(currently scholarship football has returned) that speaks volumes about your athleticism. Clarksville is not the most extravagant place to live, however there are far worse places to raise a family.
I'll make sure and pass on your accusations of drug dealing to those mentioned above. It never ceases to amaze how some can come on a message board and make bold statements with little or no retort.

It seems odd that you were,"Recruited by many schools that gave athletic scholarships", yet you chose to play Non- Scholarship football at Austin Peay.
Nice life decision there,LOL. I believe I would have made the decision to play where my education was paid for or partially supplemented if offered, as you claim it was.
You came on here making a personal attack against a friend of mine. Calling someone a drug dealer on a message board without any substantial proof just shows your character. You were not good enough to hack it at the Peay so you flame those who were obviously more talented than you. I could careless what position you played or whom you competed with at the Peay. You couldn't cut the mustard bottom line. Pretty pathetic that you were beat out of a position at a NON-SCHOLARSHIP FOOTBALL PROGRAM at the time you were there.
Not that its important, but I enjoyed my athletic experience in college. I played baseball at a Division 1 program(I was even on a SCHOLARSHIP). Just an FYI for you and your buddy there.
Don't come on a message board and make accusations about a friend of mine and expect me to sit back and let it slide. I know exactly who you are referring to. The sad thing is that people like you have a forum such as a message board to spread your pathetic garbage.
Face the facts as they are, you were beat out at your position at a NON-SCHOLARSHIP Football Program. LOL.
Your responses are comical. Coming on a message board and making statements about an individual being a drug dealer is such a classy move. You called him out by alluding to whom his brother was. If you were so upset about it why did you not confront them on a personal level at that time? Probly due to the fact you knew what the results would be. You are not man enough to make accusations like that on a one on one basis so you decide to come to a message board and do so. Nice, "Religious" character trait there. I have no clue who you are or were. When you post garbage in a public forum however, it becomes the business of those who care to reply.
Thanks for pointing out the fact that I only post once a week. That is the most logical statement you have made. I concede that.
Maybe you and VolMania21 can get together and relive the "Glory Days" during Sunday school. I am just not impressed with anyone who "Claims all these schools were recruiting me to play football and basketball, yet I went on to play Non-Scholarship football". Facts are you were not going to start so you left, injury or not. Congrats to you though, not many were good enough to say they were a member of a Non-Scholarship Football Program. LOL...
Oh the Glory days:salute:
Oh man I miss them sooooo much let's talk about them. This guy must be on the stuff his friend was selling
I love how some random guy gets into a conversation we were having... kinda weird.
BTW Did you play against Stan much? He is a really good guy. Not like those guys in Clarksville
Nearly forgot VM21 what time do you want to meet for Sunday school?
We can settle this debate in person if you would like. After speaking with the person you accused we both thought you might like to meet for lunch to discuss your feelings about drug use. Since you're man enough to call him out on a public message board I thought it only fair to give you an invitation. After all, he is no longer an upperclassmen, so I thought you might be more comfortable discussing your accusation with him. We meet in Knoxville for one game every fall. Feel free to let me know.
