» New French president wastes no time in bowing down to Islam – BANS PORK from Presidential Elysee Palace Bare Naked Islam

The new president’s decision is payback to the Muslim electorate, who overwhelmingly - 93% – voted for him. Formerly banned from the USA (until Obama took office) controversial Islamist Tarik Ramadan, called on France’s 700 mosques to support Hollande.

Pork will be replaced with mutton or beef slaughtered in the most inhumane way possible – Islamic approved halal slaughter. Muslim authorities in the country welcomed the decision, celebrating France’s demise as a Christian nation and moving it toward becoming the first European Islamic state.

Wait, I thought France's Muslims were in France on a Guest Worker Visa, which means they aren't citizens and can't vote. This was the basis for the riots and car burnings a few years back.

GS failed to post the most entertaining aspect of the article...the first paragraph:

And you thought Sarkozy was an Islamopanderer. Not even in office for a week and Francois Hollande has banned all dishes containing pork products from all government offices, in deference to France’s demanding and perpetually offended Muslim population. How long before he unbans street prayers and burqas?

The author of this article is apparently outraged that Hollande is banning pork from government offices; yet, this author is also apparently outraged at the prospect of him allowing individuals to pray anywhere and wear whatever clothes they want? Principles.

I'm still trying to figure out what the issue here is...

Well if I were a french governement worker and I like pork and wanted to eat pork I would be kind of pissed.

French pork producers should also be pissed, IMO

If Muslims don't want to eat pork they don't have to. Not sure why everyone else has to suffer w them.

But why stop there?

We don't want to offend Hindus, so let's ban beef products from government buildings too.

Maybe we should appease the hard-line vegans and just ban all animal products.

France deserves their plight. Bailed those pansies out of every war in history and they hate us. Glad we have rednecks here. Try to come between us and bacon. There will be blood in the streets.

How are the French "pansies?"

You realize the American Revolution would have probably lasted another 10+ years if we get no help from France's navy, right?

And by "every" war, you mean the two world wars we entered late after millions of French had already lost their lives?

Seriously, don't be an idiot.

I really can't fault the French for collapsing, no country in Europe was prepared to face the Wehrmacht at the time. I also give huge credit to the French resistance for carrying on the fight.

I stand by my comment. We have saved their country twice and they mock us both politically and in the general attitude of their people. I say send em back the statue of liberty and let em fall. They only helped us in the revolutionary war because they were tired of England handing them their ass and hoped to profit from it. They weren't into "planting democracies" that's a purely American...and stupid...idea.

1. If history, for you, began in 1939, then your statement may have a bit of credibility. However, the history of the French people in wars is simply incredible. Unfortunately, they lost 1.6M, almost 5, of their population in WWI; maybe, that is why they did not feel like fighting much in WWII (and, Indochina). The US lost a little over 115K in WWI.

2. Were it not for the French, there would be no US (this is a nice spin on the idiot American claim that were it not for the US, the French would be speaking German).

3. I say send the Statue of Liberty back as well, since we do not uphold liberty here anyway. We certainly do not pay any respect to Emma Lazarus's poem:
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

4. We only helped the French in WWI and WWII because of our alliance with Great Britain and our own national interests. The Brits won the Seven Years' War; however, prior to that, the last major war fought primarily between the UK and France resulted in French possession of Normandy (I would call that victory for France).

The French have a long and distinguished history of valor.

the next step will be to ban homosexuals and Jews from serving in or working for the French Parliament. After all, those two are "offensive" to mooselimbs as well.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO FRANCE?!

I seriously doubt you have. Don't confuse the government with the people. I have lived in France and not once have I ever been mocked for being American (other than maybe the occasional fast food joke).

If by general attitude of the people, you must be referring to Parisians (which are essentially like New Yorkers). They aren't even that bad. The rest of the French population have always been very warm and friendly to me.

In fact, I doubt you have ever come into contact with many French people if at all. The French are very gracious. In fact, on more than occasion, many French have told me thanks for what the United States has done for France. They certainly haven't forgotten. You also may want to go back and study history a little more too.

Vive l'amitié franco-américaine !

Evidently unreal doesn't understand the purpose of the
public muslim prayer meetings.

It isn't a religious thing, it's a political thing.

Blocking busy intersections, interfering with commerce
etc is only one step down a long road to completely
dominating a particular area.

The No-Go Rape Zones of France: 751 and Counting

One of the best kept secrets of the leftist world is the
rape and enslavement of western female activists by
Palestinians. These women have been pressured to
remain silent about their sexual abuse in order not to
hand propaganda victories to the hated Jews/Zionists.

Trans European Muslim rape gangs aggressively target
Western women, and certainly one of the countries
most afflicted is France where there are, according to
government statistics, 751 “Sensitive Urban Zones”
AKA “No-Go Zones” for Europeans.

And for those Europeans who cling to their homes and
jobs in majority Muslim areas, well, rape, robbery and
mob violence are a fact of daily life.

Even the French police don't dare enter those no go
zones, one might say that France has ceded it's own
sovereignty in those areas.

The way things are going one mught do well to stock
up on French wine while it's still available.

I agree with you. The French I have come in contact with are wonderful. I don't get the 'arrogant' attitude they are accused of. Wonderful people, and humble from my dealings with them.

And, Islam is the only religion of which such a statement could be applied, correct?
