And, Islam is the only religion of which such a statement could be applied, correct?
Before you launch one of you famous anti-Christian
rants let me ask you this, name the followers of any
religion that behave like what you read in the following
link:
The Islamic No-Go Zones in Europe « Occidental Libertas
When our own nation is at war with any other, we detest them under the character of cruel, perfidious, unjust and violent: But always esteem ourselves and allies equitable, moderate, and merciful. If the general of our enemies be successful, 'tis with difficulty we allow him the figure and character of a man. He is a sorcerer: He has a communication with daemons; as is reported of Oliver Cromwell, and the Duke of Luxembourg: He is bloody-minded, and takes a pleasure in death and destruction. But if success be on our side, our commander has all the opposite good qualities, and is a pattern of virtue, as well as of courage and conduct. His treachery we call policy: His cruelty is an evil inseparable from war. In short, every one of his faults we either endeavour to extenuate, or dignify it with the name of that virtue which approaches it.

You realize the American Revolution would have probably lasted another 10+ years if we get no help from France's navy, right?
And by "every" war, you mean the two world wars we entered late after millions of French had already lost their lives?
Seriously, don't be an idiot.
How about current events?
The obsession with children, and with rigid control over their upbringing, has been part of every system of absolute authority. It may have been a Jesuit who was first actually quoted as saying, "Give me the child until he is ten, and I will give you the man," but the idea is very much older than the school of Ignatius Loyola. Indoctrination of the young often has the reverse effect, as we also know from the fate of many secular ideologies, but it seems that the religious will run this risk in order to imprint the average boy or girl with enough propaganda. What else can they hope to do? If religious instruction were not allowed until the child attained the age of reason, we would be living in a quite different world. Faithful parents are divided over this, since they naturally hope to share the wonders and delights of Christmas and other fiestas with their offspring (and can also make good use of god, as well as of lesser figures like Santa Claus, to help tame the unruly) but mark what happens if the child should stray into another faith, let alone another cult, even in early adolescence. The parents will tend to proclaim that this is taking advantage of the innocent...Those who lie to the young in this way are wicked in the extreme.

Yep. No one here realizes the big bad ban is only in the Presidental palace, not the entire country.
Pay attention Christians in France--you voted for this... And from the Great Spencer on May 27th....France: Muslims stone Christians in church during mass
No one will take much note of this. It is just one story among the thousands that together tell the tale of France's decline and Islamization. Eurabia Update: Here is my translation of "Carcassonne Des fidèles caillassés pendant la messe à Saint-Joseph," by Yannick Bonnefoy in Midi Libre, May 27 (thanks to David): Carcassonne: The faithful stoned during Mass at St. Joseph
Yesterday at 6:20PM, as Fr. Roger Barthes began to celebrate mass, four youths, aged 14 to 18, broke into the Church of St. Joseph, before launching handfuls of pebbles at 150 faithful present at the service. Immediately, men began pursuing the young troublemakers, but in vain. They managed to vanish into thin air, heading towards the city La Conte. Interrupted by regrettable unexpected event, Mass was finally able to proceed as planned.
Although no one was injured and nothing was broken in the church, located along the Avenue Jean Moulin, the parishioners, many of whom are elderly, were greatly shocked by the disrespectful act of the youths of North African origin.... and from a comment on the website, "North African origin"read, "Muslim". Carcassonne has been under Muslim conquest before.
In 725, the Wali Ambisa took the city following the Islamic conquest of the Visigoth kingdom of Spain. The city remained in the hands of Muslims until 752, when it was freed by the Franks led by Pippin the Short.

Comparing sexual crimes to sexual crimes, I would argue that the atrocities committed at the convent of the Magdalene Sisters was much worse. Moreover, the accounts of the sexual abuse of children at the hands of priests, pastors, and preachers (to include Protestant preachers) is shocking and grotesque. However, if you want to talk about the greatest atrocity that these religions commit it is in the intentional abuse of children by teaching them to live in fear of ghost stories for the rest of their lives.

wonder how the mooslums feel about foie gras?
Were you abused as a child in the church?
I understand you have a hard on for Christianity for some unknown reason but for someone who claims ultimate objectivity you come up with some absurd assertions.
Consider just the rapes by moslem men of Hindu women during only the 20th century and it would outnumber the total of all the rapes in history.
No.
More irony.
Systematic Rapes by Judeo-Christian forces:
- "For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped..." Zechariah 14:2
- 1904-07 Herero Genocide committed by German Soldiers; one of the 'weapons of terror' used against the indigenous population was the rape of their women by German Soldiers.
- 1898-1901 Boxer Rebellion in which Western forces raped thousands of Chinese women; wasn't China's rejection of Christianity one of the stated reasons in which the Western forces got involved?
- 1990s Bosnian Genocide. The Serbian Christians not only killed hundreds of thousands of Bosnians, but they also raped anywhere between 20,000 and 50,000 Bosnian Muslims.
At least per gs ther were no Serbian war crimes committed.
Those statements in no way negate my origianal statement.
In her ground-breaking book, Against Our Will: Men, Women and Rape, Susan Brownmiller likened the 1971 events in Bangladesh to the Japanese rapes in Nanjing and German rapes in Russia during World War II. "... 200,000, 300,000 or possibly 400,000 women (three sets of statistics have been variously quoted) were raped. Eighty percent of the raped women were Moslems, reflecting the population of Bangladesh, but Hindu and Christian women were not exempt. ... Hit-and-run rape of large numbers of Bengali women was brutally simple in terms of logistics as the Pakistani regulars swept through and occupied the tiny, populous land ..." (p. 81).
You original statement is absurd.
1. Most of the women raped in Bangladesh were Muslim women (80%; or between 160K-240K depending on which survey one refers to):
2. These rapes in no way even come close to outnumbering all other rapes throughout history, nor throughout the twentieth century.
3. Unless you believe that the majority of the German and Russian soldiers were not Christians (I am not speaking of the Nazi or Soviet elite, I am speaking of the ordinary, conscripted infantrymen), then you must admit that the rapes carried out by the Wehrmacht were mostly (at least 50%) carried out by individuals who would have identified themselves as Christians (just like the rapes of the Bosnian Muslims, the rapes conducted by the Crusaders in Constantinople and Jerusalem, etc.)
