Man, Florida historically UNDERSUPPORTS their programs in terms of fan attendance. For a traditionally successful baseball program that is hosting a high quality opponent that rarely visits Gainesville, tonight's fan numbers look very very weak especially on a beautiful evening. Gator fans are spoiled and show it. We at Tennessee have been so starved for a winner in just about any sport that we will come out in force for any semi competitive team, not just a top ranked team. Some of the best fans anywhere our VolFans.

And getting all the intense national light shined on his supposed affair/situation between the estranged wife and crazy husband who killed himself and her kids......which was reportedly the reason LSU quickly backed off him, even further embarrassing O'Sully AND the Fla admin who was almost forced to stick with him. You almost get the feeling that things just don't feel right down there right now. Out of kilter.

Oh it got stirred up when LSU "invited" their baseball coach to retire just before our regional against them in Knoxville (Paul Mainieri). They appeared to be just about to pull the trigger on the O'Sully hire when this item was re-released by local Louisiana media and the Fla coach was dropped like a bad habit. And there was word that Florida was quite unhappy with Sully for courting the Cajun Tigers and would have liked to dump him but no good prospects in sight at the time.

I think he wanted out of Florida after last season. He went pretty far down the road with LSU before they backed off due to supposed “skeletons” in his closet. At least that’s what the chatter was.

He looks like he’s just going through the motions now.

I remember that but I didn’t know the full details, like the husband killing himself and kids being involved!

A bunch of pieces will have to fall in place first. I'm developing a Marquand diagram, overlaid with a Venn diagram, but much will depend on the run differential when Auburn plays Samford on May 17 and when they play Troy on May 10, squared, then divided by the difference between the number of doors in the world and the number of wheels in the world. But if Georgia brings Uga with them to Knoxville for the Georgia series, that may push us over the top and maybe we'll be the 11th seed in Hoover. I hope I don't jinx it!
