So I’m watching this game between the 2 Mississippi schools and I’m thinking, there may not be anyone close to Tennessee and Arkansas.

All press iz good press. This issue has dominated cbb and the resultant focus has exposed a few egregious examples of poor sportsmanship.

One of the announcers during the Ole Miss Mississippi State game just commented on the Vitello/Macias incident. While he agreed the suspension was warranted, he said that he didn’t think Macias did his job in trying to de-escalate things. It was obvious he was disapproving of Macias’s behavior, but he was trying to be careful not to badmouth him.

I walked in during the comments, and it was Kyle Peterson, I think. IMO, a highly respected guy. Great college baseball player himself.
