I hope Rocker has a bad game next Friday night...but it is against UT and you know they will be jacked. However, his demise, pitch-speed wise, may be overhyped a tad when I see that he struck out 12 in 5 innings. That tells me he still has really good stuff even with a decrease in MPH.

Vandie ( I am assuming this is the correct spelling and will continue to use it going forward) will likely win the next two but last night was a fun game to watch. I just wish the camera had panned to the crowd more. I am sure they were not very happy.

I agree with you. I don’t think anyone suggested ‘his demise’ because his velocity has went down. I only said he went from unbeatable (no chance) to at least beatable (fighting chance). Now Leiter, IMO, is still unbeatable with 95-97 velo mixed with his multitude of secondary pitches unless he walks guys and has 30 pitch innings.

I know Vandy looks to be the team to beat but I hope they don't wreck this kid's arm and cost him millions...they could rest him 2 series and still be setup fine for regionals and SEC tourney

Big chance to be up 2 full games on Gamecocks...LSU facing uphill battle to make regional..vs #11 USC at #6 Ole Miss and vs #1 Arky...call me crazy...I think they take 2 out 3 of those series

Let's hope we're in position to bring in Hunley, then we'll worry about whether or not he's available. My guess would be 2 days rest is plenty for him and he's available tonight if we need him.

Hunley and the rest will be ready to go. They just threw a bullpen Tuesday night which they would have done if they did not pitch in the game. Hunley threw 47 pitches which should be fine for him on three days rest.
