I have heard around 2.3 million. I dont know if that is right but thats what I have heard. That seems really high for a basketball coach, is that about right for a high profile b-ball coach?

That's true. But my point is that at Alabama, basketball is an afterthought.

I don't care what the Alabama press relations office says about Mark Gottfried "resigning", it's obvious that the man was fired. Mal Moore should be ashamed of promulgating such a big, fat Crimson lie. At least Tennessee has an AD who doesn't try to conceal the truth of coaching terminations. Yet another reason for UT to claim superiority over the U of A. Yay!
