I wish you had the chance to meet me in person and see if you still feel that way. I'm not a bad guy, just have a different opinion than the majority in here on politics. I am not anti-woman and I read far worse stuff about Hillary than me asking what this woman has done to be a VP. Sorry to offend you, any women, or anyone else. That was not my intention.
is this the "some of my best friends are female" defense?

No but I don't have any enemies except people on here that don't like my opinions. That's all they are, opinions. I have nothing against anyone. If you read 'About this page' above it says "without getting angry this is not for you" and a lot of people are really getting angry at me because I have a different opinion. Again, I apoligize if I said anything offensive to you or anyone else.

I am certain that all of the comments from JT5 and myself were absolutely tongue in cheek. Take it easy.

I don't think that is your intent either. But, hell I'm an optimist. Just don't come on so strong and bets which require people to never show their "faces" on VN again. A bit aggressive IMO.

You are right, I got caught up in the moment. I am sorry. Being out numbered makes it frustrating on here sometimes. It causes the me against the world feeling. I should have thought about what I was saying first.

615 you might as well not argue with them. They know that McCain is toast!

Not sure if as a whole you are outnumbered. I think all the VN liberals are at the welfare office picking up their checks :) and will be on line later. Just kidding. I think you'll find you are not outnumbered.

They're busy arguing to UCLA fans, most of us don't care enough to talk politics. I am one of the few that enjoy politics.

Laugh now, people on here agreed yesterday and so do people that aren't drinking the GOP kool-aid.

I hate to break it to you guys but I don't like this pick.

I really don't know what to think about the pick. In some ways I think she's a great choice. In others, Romney was the best qualified but he's always struck me as a dud.

None of the choices were particularly great (same can be said of the Dem side).

agreed. I think the best part of the whole deal is that the surprise nature of the choice coupled with the timing of the announcement has stolen all of the thunder from the coronation in Denver.

simple, he's a big government, leftist, tax and spend liberal with a track record of verbal gaffes that make George W. Bush look like William Shakespeare.

Sir, George W. Bush is probably the most recklessly spending president in the history of this nation.

Oh, are you under the impression that Bush is running? He's not. His administration cannot hold the White House any longer. We'll be moving a whole new outfit in come January.
