government to spy on people who use certain words on Internet social websites

There is more information available and of key importance to be learned through open source than we would ever get by stealing secrets from other governments. If we had been doing this prior to April 19, 1995, 168 people who worked at the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City may still be alive.

The government does a lot that is stupid and ineffective, but reading social networks for announcements on attacks (which McVeigh did) can actually point investigators in the right direction to prevent something catastrophic.

I'm sure they already read VN...

Some chick with a huge bust drug me to Mexico. We ate pork that lead to me producing a dirty bomb on the toilet. The water was cloudy and when I flushed it was a like a tornado.

I doubt it, or I would have been fired already

Y'all are crazy for using those words much less using a bunch of them. You're not going to think it's funny when the Government starts spying on you.

You have tried to warn them Billy.

All these guys is doing is putting a cloud over our social media network VN. They should realize they are making themselves a target for Homeland Security.

The bunch of flag waving Tea Party members on here exercising their rights should be aware they are just causing a man made disaster.

Thank you for the warning Billy. I for one will not be using any of those words.

I went by the assumption that you already knew what love meant. My bad. I was pointing out the type of love that you appear to have for yourself. But you knew that, you just like to play dumb.

I think there is a large gulf separating "love" and "in love". "Love" is a verb that is ultimately based, for the most part, in true altruism; i.e., one offers to sacrifice near term pleasure for long-term happiness. "In love" is an adjective that refers to an overwhelming passion in which one sacrifices their own near-term (or immediate) pleasure for another's near-term (or immediate) pleasure. There is no logical absurdity in loving oneself, as there is no contradiction between trading in their own near-term pleasure for their own long-term happiness. There is a logical absurdity in being "in love with oneself" as one can not trade in their own near-term pleasure for their own near-term pleasure.

As for arguing that "in love" connotes "romantic love", the history of the word does not supply the evidence. There are numerous examples throughout history and throughout literature of persons expressing that they are "in love" with their parents, siblings, sovereigns, etc. yet it is quite clear in these passages that they are not referring to "romantic" love.

In sum, I am not "playing dumb"; I am asking what you mean by the phrase "in love" because I saw that it had to mean something very different from the manner in which I understand it if you were trying to use it to say that I was "in love" with myself.

Haha. You are what I was in high school. Over-analyzing every little thing even when I knew what people were talking about, sometimes becoming amazed with myself when I felt that I talked my way out of something difficult. I would even consider myself smarter than others when they would stop arguing points, I would consider it some sort of win. I even went through a deep philosophy phase as a result of what I perceived as my superior view points through over-analyzing. Then one day it hit me. I needed to just quit being retarded. People wouldn't stop arguing because I had superior arguments, they just realized I was being stupid and didn't understand the most basic things. You're narcissistic. That doesn't mean that you just "like" yourself. If you can't figure that out, then there is little that you can. Have a good day.

Is it really a bad thing to be arrogant and narcissistic when you know you are the smartest person in the room? I'll be honest the town I live in is full of some of the most idiotic people I have ever seen.

Some individuals view pride and self-love as vicious; others view pride and self-love as virtuous. I fall into the latter category; Tums apparently falls into the former. Tough life not loving oneself.

Wonder if there will be a blackout in Columbia for the shootout between the Vols & SC? Their recruitment of homegrown players down there is smart.

Again, you're not understanding. You seem to not just love or respect yourself. You're narcissistic. In other words if you had the ability to clone yourself you would, just so you could be with yourself. Not someone like you, but yourself.
