I was at the game, and being a student, I was in the student section. The crowd was loud, especially when UAB was threatening inside the 20. The crowd caused A TON of motion penalites for UAB, as well as offsides. I dunno what you guys are talking about.
I'm glad to see you guys aren't like the national media. Even with how flat the offense was (especially inside the 20) we played well. AT NO POINT did UAB have a chance to win the game! Let alone take the lead! Think about that. They had one chance late to tie the game and threw an incomplete pass. This was NOT a scare, there were some problems, but it was very close to being there. Often you can determine how well an O is moving the ball based on how many punts you have to kick... would anyone care to tell me how many Britton had to kick? EXACTLY ONE. We moved the ball, and shot ourselves in the foot when in scoring position. Our guys will take this lesson learned, and get prepared for UF.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that according to the Coaches this is a top 30 team... not the cupcake that most teams play the first weekend. They are obviously better than BoiseSU.
