Grade the Vols

Overall, a C from me. We win as a team. We lose as a team. We are graded as a team. lol

I was at the game, and being a student, I was in the student section. The crowd was loud, especially when UAB was threatening inside the 20. The crowd caused A TON of motion penalites for UAB, as well as offsides. I dunno what you guys are talking about.

I'm glad to see you guys aren't like the national media. Even with how flat the offense was (especially inside the 20) we played well. AT NO POINT did UAB have a chance to win the game! Let alone take the lead! Think about that. They had one chance late to tie the game and threw an incomplete pass. This was NOT a scare, there were some problems, but it was very close to being there. Often you can determine how well an O is moving the ball based on how many punts you have to kick... would anyone care to tell me how many Britton had to kick? EXACTLY ONE. We moved the ball, and shot ourselves in the foot when in scoring position. Our guys will take this lesson learned, and get prepared for UF.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that according to the Coaches this is a top 30 team... not the cupcake that most teams play the first weekend. They are obviously better than BoiseSU.

well I mean uab can go undefeated the rest of the year and no one would say anything. You just never know how good the team you are playing really is at the begining of the year.

Personally, I loved the results of today's game. Given the road games the Vols have coming up, nothing sounds better to me than a W in the hopper, a bunch of pissed-off coaches, and a stable of kids thinking they better work their butts off to get better and fast.....

once again an ugly win, we were outplayed for 3 quarters if not for a few turnovers boy would that not have been a blow to our season. Florida and LSU will show us how u win when we go there. As long as we keep those coaches down there NOTHING WILL CHANGE!!!

C : D-line B+, Secondary except for Allen C , Ainge A in the first 5min then plummets to a D , Clausen B+ the interception was as much his fault as the receivers, WR's C- too many dropped passes but they looked great with YAC, O-line C (run blocking sucked) , Rbs B did well with the small holes they were provided, Special Teams o we have a special teams unit? D

Overall a D. I thought it was just a totally flat performance. The D played a good game, but the O was just awful IMO.

i did not see a single play outside of basic plays, why was this? i think it was the plan you do not show all your cards to the rest of the sec.
