Great Game Gators

Its hard to be happy that year after year we have a team that is good enough to get into title recognition and then lose early in the season. The only thing matters is a national championship.

I don't think it was the coaching. Tennessee went flat on defense and offense after the blocked field goal. Special teams looked bad as usual and the WRs couldn't get open with me covering.

I agree, after those special teams problems, it was like UT just gave up...

Congrats Gators! Meyer is a classy coach.

So what if you win 10 games a year. Any coach can win 10 games with the recuits we get. If fulmer is so good, we should of had a few more national titles.

The only problem i have about the game is that Leak threw to the endzone after he had the game won already. That is one of the only things I cant stand in a football game.

Well, the alternatives were to run it again or kick a field goal. Touch to expect a kneel down with 1:45 to go and only up by 9.

dude, we play in the hardest conference in the nation. There are 10 teams that recruit just as good as us ok. You cant go undefeated every year and there are some teams that just has to play a team that has there number. Bowden would have had 4 national championships if it wasn't for maimi. And we would have 3 if it wasnt for Florida. Lets not forget about the big picture here, the sec is still in reach, We just have to play better every week.

No national title opportunity

So we dont win the national championship? Big deal. No one is going to beat USC anyways.

At least the day wasn't a total loss. "The ole Ball Coach" got his rear handed to him. :D

with the holding call it wouldbe 1st and goal and different score coming out at halftime...all i am saying is that was a game changing call and no call....once again no sour grapes just plain old 20/20 facts...and another thing, maybe if the great pumpkin would get a little pissed from time to time maybe the players would react with a bit more urgency,or pick splinters out of their asses....maybe Trooper Taylor should be promoted? He h enough passion, emotion and energy for 5 teams....This " well dog gone it B.S." is for the birds...

Someone needs to start a www.firefulmer.com web board and we might get heard.

Ah yes, fire the winningest active coach and they'll line up to coach here.

If Florida thinks they took us to the woodshed then they need to share that box of dreamsicles.. :gun:  :moon2:

I don't think anyone feels that way. We were lucky to win and the special teams play by Florida, combined with special teams snafus by UT, were the only difference in the game. I think the teams are just about even, overall.

So your answer is to fire the winningest coach in the country because of one game. We're not going to win them all, I don't give a damn who the coach is. That's just a fact. I'm not trying to single you out sullivanssa, but I really get sick of all of this fire Fulmer and fire Sanders crap after every single game. It's really starting to piss me off. If we get rid of Fulmer, who exactly would you put in his place?
