yea I think the play was called for VS to run the pick and roll and he Didn’t get open quick enough

So Bowden is incapable of running a simple pick and roll? Or just a make a basketball play?

Dude many many possessions the last few games Bowden has brought the ball up the court with SV on the wing. This has allowed SV to relax and not be faced with 3/4 quart pressure which he struggles with. That’s what we were trying to do here but SV couldn’t get open for the ball.

Now if you want Bowden or any other player to abandon what the coach calls for that’s your business but from my seat the ball did end up in SV hands which is what we wanted it was just late because SV athleticism cost us dearly there

SV had no chance with the situation he was presented with. That's not on him at all.

Agree to some extent but he has to get open sooner
He tried. I watched the replay of that scenario, and they had him d fended to the point where he couldn't. If you want to blame his lack of athleticism on that, then I'll agree with you.

Eh, I have a hard time pinning blame on Fulk for the missed block call instead of charge. I guess officials had been calling it incorrectly the whole day against us (about half of the charges were real), so he should have known the way it was being called.

Similarly, his pass out of bounds showed hand contact on the replay and looked awkward during the live action. I have a hard time blaming a guy for throwing it away when he got fouled fairly aggressively
To be clear, I'm not pinning blame on Fulk. Just pointing out that we went to him twice in the closing two minutes, and it resulted in a TO, no matter how legit either play seemed. I don't disagree there seemed to be a lot of arm contact on the play he threw it away. I think Tennessee had a more legit complaint on that play for a foul to be called than they did on the charge call.
