How bout the season Justin Duchscherer is having. His ERA is under 2.00.

as well as Oakland relievers Joey Devine, Andrew Brown, Santiago Casilla and Brad Ziegler. Ziegler has 11.1 innings pitched without giving up an earned run yet.

Matt Garza today: 9 Innings, 1 Hit, 1 Run, 1 BB, 10 Ks

Had a no-no going into the 7th but Hanley Ramirez broke it up with a homer.

I believe Sydney Ponson has earned the right to be mentioned here.

6 scoreless innings?

Wow, where did that come from?

Is this thread not about players who have a great performance?

yes, and if we mentioned every pitcher that goes six scoreless innings, this thread would be 20 pages deep by now. While it was a good outing for him, it doesn't deserve to be anywhere close to this thread.

This isn't a great performance by a single player, but how about the Marlins vs. Rockies tonight?

The Rockies won 18-17. :eek:hmy:

Jimmy Gobble earned the right to be in this thread last night. His line: 1 IP, 7 H, 10 Runs (all earned), 4 walks and no strikeouts. That is impressive.
