Heupel is the best quarterback recruiter that Tennessee has had in a long time.

He is the best coach that I have seen in my life-time (even better than Fulmer). Fulmer rarely outcoached tough competition, Heupel tends to do that more than Fulmer.

Heupel inherited a tougher situation (similar to what Johnny Majors got in the late 1970s) and turned it around very fast.

This video isn’t accurate. Clemson also had stud WRs and first round picks on defense every year. Oh and let’s not forget good RBs. You cannot win like Clemson did with just great QB play.

Venables had some impressive defenses, I seem to remember one year when their entire DLine was drafted.
