Does anyone else ever stop and think how silly it is te devotion we give to "just a sport" I mean it is just a game, but then that notion disappears and you start singing rocky top and counting down the days until we do battle again, best place in the nation, I'm glad I go to school here because on those fall Saturdays there is nowhere in the world I or any other vol fan would rather be VFL

The only thing missing in that video was the mention of what the call for Volunteers was for. Pretty important ommission. It would be like saying..."In 1812, General Andrew Jackson called for 2800 volunteers. 10,000 said Wassup?"

It's stupid to omit just what they were being called for. On UT's official site...from where the quote was taken from, they clearly stated DURING THE MEXICAN WAR...Governor Brown asked for...

I mean you make a video to dramatize the nickname. At least get it right, Biff!
