1998 Florida was legendary, it has always been the benchmark to measure games by. To me, this Alabama game was just on a different level though due to the 15 year streak. Heupel had his foot on the gas all night. Rolling the dice for the win rather than waiting for overtime - that's the stuff legends are made of. The last minute of the game was almost dream-like. I've watched Tennessee games for 30 years and I don't remember a better one than that.

‘59 LSU….. ‘82 Bama…..

Hard to top ‘98 Florida. But we just did it. You know what both had in common?
No goalposts left.
What an amazing game!!!!!!!

I was at the ‘04 Florida game. Largest ever crowd, loudest I’ve ever heard it, and eerily similar. Can’t remember the kicker of the top of my head, but he missed a PAT then nailed a 50 yard game winner as time expired. Probably not as significant as this one, but huge at the time.
But no, ‘98 Arkansas, then this. They win a NC this year and that’s reversed

I've watched college and pro football my whole life and can't think of a better, more compelling game from start to finish than this one.

This is right up there.

We don't have to vote for what order they're ranked in, thank goodness, we can just say: this game is right up there with the best of them. We just lived through Volunteer history.

Go Vols!

Lived through Volunteer history-by the skin of my teeth. My heart was not liking that last 10 minutes of game play. I promised myself I was going to be calm no matter what happened. Didn't work out that way.

When your team has just beat the coach everyone says is the greatest coach of all time, yeah, it is that important.

Im so happy we didn’t play for overtime. We had a lethal deep ball, but I don’t know how we would have done trading blows in the red zone like that. Going for the kill was the right call and we got the kill shot!

We’ve got season tickets, but life happens. My wife divorced me last year and I had my kids this weekend and I chose to be with them, but it would’ve been awesome. Sold our tickets to some UT folks, paid for our year’s tickets. Hope those folks had a blast! 😃

Right On Brother!!! How many times over the years we watched teams shut it down in the last minute or two and play for overtime? CJH is refreshing with his aggressiveness and take no prisoners attitude. I'm a huge fan. GBO !!!
