just saw that on CBS.

that guy absolutely loves tennessee, he called a tennessee game recently iirc and was really singing high praise.

It's amazing how one player in college basketball, more so than any team sport in the world, can change the entire direction/culture of a single team.

Tennessee has put themselves into the driver seat. Unlike earlier in the season, they can control their own fate now. No more hoping other teams help, this comes down to the desire and will of the team.

Vols getting alot of love from the national media now. As long as they stay focused and take it one game at a time, I would not be surprosed to see them win the SEC tourney. I'm not sure Calipari won't rein his horses in and save them for the NCAA tourney. SO, if we can get to the finals, maybe they will be beatable. Gotta get there first.

I heard him say that too..Who would have ever thought that we would be in this position at the end of the reg. season?? or anyone singing our praises?? Just unfreakinbelievable...Feels like a d@mn good dream!!:rock:

Absolutely no chance that happens.
Kentucky's yearly goal is to win the SEC, then win the National Title.

exactly. not win the sec tournament championship.

he has said as much himself, he doesnt give a $h!t about the sec tournament.

no really. kentucky won the sec this year. if we won the sec t that wouldnt change, we would have just won the sec t not the sec.

either way...as i said Cal doesnt care about the sec tournament. he does want to win the regular season, but he has said himself he doesnt care about the sec t.

However they count it, I see it more as the winner of the SEC tournament is the that year's champions. I thought that's why they had the tournament??

Regular season champs and tourney champs. You want the regular season championship b/c it puts you into the tourney seed.

exactly.

and as cal stated today, even a loss isnt gonna change their seed, so he really sees the sec tournament as pointless for his team.

I agree with everything but cal reining in his horses. Winning this tournament means something, and he knows it. The players get a ring for it. Every team will go all out, and the hottest team will win. Hopefully that will be us.

Ky is the #1 overall seed in the big dance so why should cal care about winning the SEC T? I think they will win the SECT but I dont think Cal cares either way.
