Usual suspects in this forum actually celebrating this. What was once a little bit of defiance by the right, maybe even healthy defiance, is now full bore support of physical aggression against a reporter asking the same questions asked of 100 other politicians today, without it turning into WWE.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The reporter did not deserve this, but where was your and other leftist on this board outrage when BLM, Antifa, et al assaulted Trump supporters while trying to attend his rallies, or forcibly entering his rallies starting fights trying to break up the rally? Or their assault on persons and property trying to shut down invited guest speakers at Berkeley and other institutions? Freedom of assembly ring a bell, counselor? How about the young woman that was pelted with eggs by rioters, defenseless, because she was identified as a Trump supporter and the cornered her and had at it? All the violent, vitriolic acts by the leftist perpetrated upon innocent people trying to attend a rally, a lecture etc are in large part what have created the response by the right. Gianforte was over the top and was wrong in doing so. But this isn't "Trump's America". It's a symptom of the bulls**t dished out by the left since before the election.

When did I ever defend a BLM person physically touching or handling a Trump supporter?

Cannot believe people are still celebrating this candidate doing this.

I'm fine if you want to say he lost his head in all the stress of the last moments of a campaign and if he apologizes that you do not see it as disqualifying. I do, but I'm fine if you do not.

What I find remarkable is people saying commission of a physical assault was justified by a reporter asking uncomfortable questions in an uncomfortable manner.

there is a difference in celebrating and making fun

how do you know the reporter didn't put his recorder right in his face and actually bump him in the process?

I'm not saying this would make it right, but it could have been perceived as antagonizing.....especially after the guy wrote a smear piece on him.

No one is reporting that. You've got the reporter's story, backed up by Fox reporter, that he was not acting in any sort of physical way.

And then the candidate's, which the Fox reporter says is untruthful.

Look, at some point, even conservative media are getting disturbed at the abuse of other media, even if they do not like their point of view. It was disturbing enough that the Fox reporter feels compelled to stand up for the truth, which is the reporter's version of events.

I guess you are anti science, there are definitely alpha and beta males/females in social animal structures. Humans included.

If you don't know which one you are, you're a beta.

You forget the sheepdogs.

The reporter may have been a weakling spaz, but that's no reason for physical contact. Men with proper home training use violence as a last resort not as a first response to an irritating question from a reporter covering a candidates platform.

Given the leadership (and i use that term loosely) style from the right, it's not surprising we have candidates who are prone to dispensing with rational discussion and instead bully their way through inconvenience.

Sadly, this guy probably has a chance at winning since many preliminary votes were cast before he lost his fuqing mind.

Wouldn't be the first person elected to Congress that had a charge against them.

That tweet that "dispels" the attack as it "didn't happen' - how come we can't actually see it?

The chicks twitter feed is private and if her profile picture is any indication (common titty!) I want to be a follower.

Also, the author of the article is 'gotnews' - which is code for anonymous source. My understanding is that is now verboten.

The always clever, "bbbbbuuuuuttttt obama" retort.

Good job dawg, you'll fit in nicely.

lol dawg? Come on man why are we getting so serious now? For the record I don't condone what happened and to be honest I think he should withdraw from the race.

We need more of this. Reminds me of the good old days when politicians beat each other with canes, dueled with pistols, and handled each other with fisticuffs. MAGA.
