The floggings will continue until morale improves. Whitmer has extended her stay-at-home order through June 12th. Places like gyms, hair salons and barbershops are to remain closed. Many people in her state find the governor's restrictions baffling , and the governor has faced protests & criticism over her handling of the pandemic. It's hard to believe the people of the State of Michigan will re-elect such a hateful dumb dictator as her.... but we shall see.

Now she's just hoping that the armed protestors start squeezing off rounds so the Leftists can push their 2A talking points.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

If you go there, but stay peaceful, she may continue to play this game of extending every two weeks for as long as she can. She is probably under the impression or gambling on the idea of these protesters being more bark than bite.So as long as the protesters are there , yet being peaceful, there is no incentive to change her ways.

Then there is the other option of the protesters no longer being peaceful...

Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

Not sure what point you are trying to make. They thought it would hold, found out it wouldn't hold, and warned folks. I'm not coming at this from a partisan angle. Just wondering what point you are trying to make?
The OP is coming from the angle of political partisanship. Gretchen Whitmer is a Democrat, who has been at odds with Donald Trump over how to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, and he is fishing for an attack against her. I highly doubt the OP ever started a thread on former Michigan Republican Governor Rick Snyder's response to the Flint water crisis, which definitely left room for criticism.

self awareness is not one of your strengths I see.

That’s questionable AND that isn’t helping her cause with her being 46 and him 73
Why are we having a "who is fatter?" debate over these two? They are both fat. On a different note, I'm very surprised that Trump never responded to Pelosi's "morbidly obese" statement. That isn't the kind of thing he normally lets ride. A return volley never came about.

Pelosi is an afterthought. Trump dismissed her already...
