I have to say he's handled this tough job pretty good so far. Its gonna show in the next few games what it meant for him to stand up for his oline.

You have 3 guys at WR over 6'3".... I would have thrown 3 fades in a row to North or something in the back of the end zone to one of the TE's.

BUT you don't understand. The misplay of a very well thrown ball by Croom with a 27-10 score in the end zone that resulted in a INT didn't end UT's chances of winning. The drops didn't. The matador blocks didn't.... the poor punts didn't. ONLY Worley's bad choice on UT's last potential scoring drive ended UT's chances of winning.

Dang bo'. E'body 'no dat.

The same way you forgot about the well thrown pass to Croom that went right through his hands for a pick in the end zone. Same way you forgot about the number of sacks and knock downs Worley endured before and after leading UT on that drive. The same way you seem to have forgotten about every other play that contributed to the loss... except for that one.

Worley and the Vols seemed to get a lot of praise on that segment. Which really surprised me outta Griese! Said the 19 pt spread was ridiculous, and sounded as if both of them would pick the Vols to win.

Worley is a taller Matt Simms. He holds the ball, looks at one receiver, has lead feet and can take a sack with the best of em.

But yes you're right, he has 3 picks on the season. One went through Croom's hands, and the pick 6 was the result of bad play calling. You go 5-wide 2 yards outside of a crowded endzone you have a better chance of the ball being picked than you do actually making the completion.

If we would have ran the ball and got stuffed everyone and there mom would have wondered "why didn't we go 5 wide and stretch it out"

I don't think Griese is really talking about Worley at all. I think he's just trying to say in a round about way that the OL sucks.

Are you serious?

Did you even watch the Simms games...sober?

Worley is way better than Simms.

The first 3 games last year Worley played a lot like Simms, I will give you that.

But he turned a major corner during the GA game and has only gotten better.

Simms was good at one thing and one thing only, taking hits and getting back up.

from championships,I would have to go With Tee,him and the Vols went undefeated,which Peyton never did accomplish
