This is the last time Silva lost a fight,Does this look like he was behind ?If you have never saw this it is amazing! for all the doubters of that last punch he put on Forrest just look at this little pitter patter from his "back"

I am not as up on the MMA as some on here but that is honestly the first big fight I've ever watched where I thought, "is something up?" I watched it again twice and I can't bring myself to believe that he took a dive. Not because Forrest is my favorite or anything because he's not even in my top 10. It was just the vibe I got watching the match.

I think after watching it again a couple of times maybe that vibe just comes from the fact that Forrest gave up after getting smacked down a couple of times early. Maybe he came into that fight knowing he didn't have much of a prayer or didn't believe in himself or something.

It makes me think of the Michael Spinks/Mike Tyson mega fight in the late 80s. It was all over all the sports news, Sports Illustrated, etc how Spinks could give Tyson a real match. Then he got splattered a minute into the match. It was the only boxing PPV my dad ever ordered and he looked at me when it was over - I was like 8 at the time - and said that's why I will order wrestling from now on and forget about boxing. At least with wrestling since its staged you know you are likely to get your $$'s worth.

Then I have heard in recent years at how terrified Spinks was that night. That he was crying in the dressing room and they really had to work on him to even get him to come to the ring that night.

I'm not saying Forrest did THAT but I'm saying maybe he knew he was completely overmatched. I would rather believe that than think he took a dive. And after watching the video a couple of extra times I think I would lean more towards that line of thinking. He knew at some point he was outclassed and just gave up. Then that last shot had to hurt him but I think it was just the wave of the white flag and saying I quit more than him being truly knocked out. I think he ran from the cage because he was embarrassed at the performance and knew the fans were not going to be happy.

not a big Silva fan... but he's probably the best ever! And I've been watching since the Tank Abbot and Dan the beast days.

Talk is of Machida vs Silva.

Wrong. Machida has to fight Shogun first and that is in no way a guaranteed win for The Dragon. Secondly, Silva and Machida have already said they aren't going to fight eachother...nice one...so much for the "talk" you speak of here...
