Griffith Saying On The Radio That...

Nothing like making excuses for losing an argument on a message board.
Nothing like quoting yourself to prove you're schizophrenic nimrod. Actually, keep talking to yourself. That way, you're conversing with someone who is actually as clueless as you are.

Woolridge needs to realize that most of the people on these message boards don't have a clue about basketball

Uh guys, not saying that I'm not enjoying all the verbal b*tch slapping that is going on but shouldn't we try to get back on topic? You know, just for discussions sake?

I don't know how it will make him feel better that a bunch of clueless full-time football, part-time basketball fans that barely understand the game at all are quite sure he is utterly failing while on the court.

Pearl has said message board criticism has "hurt Woolridge's feelings." John Adams had the the right take. "If he doesn't want to get criticized, he shouldn't put himself out there on Twitter, etc."

this thread took an unfortunate turn for the worse. but the bottom line is that the cavedwellers on these message boards would criticize him regardless if he put himself out there or not. just ask skylar mcbee.

BUT, i think Pearl was mistaken when he referred to message boards. I think it is criticism he reads on his twitter account - something he uses to interact with fans. i doubt he comes on to votnation, but there are people who trash him on twitter, and I know he can see those.

Yeah, because it takes a Larry Brownesque knowledge of the game to tell he's bad.

I always kind of thought that when you airball a shot from 15 ft enough that it doesn't even graze net that it's pretty self-evident that you suck. But hey, maybe it's different if you rap on youtube.

I generally agree, but when you have someone implying that a few of us are idiots who haven't accomplished anything, it's hard not to call him on it. Especially since, for all the cool stuff I am doing right now, I still don't hold a candle to a few of the guys around here.

It only sucks if you have a broad knowledge of the game. But if a player is followed by any fan who doesn't know anything about the game outside of three pointers and dunks, then that player obviously doesn't suck.

No, you wouldn't be able to afford the lawn maintenance at their house. I was simply pointing out a standard you wouldn't fall as far short of in comparison. You're the one who made it about personal issues. I'll be more than glad to compare accomplishments and bank accounts with you. See how that turns out for you.

Unfortunately Hat, this "gentleman" has nothing to offer except personal bashing of other posters. His complete lack of knowledge prohibits him from making any posts that contains any basketball comments or information. Therefore, in order to remain active, he is completely limited to personal bashing of others to further verify his stupidity.

Maybe we should invite swiperboi to come and talk about his feelings on the message board. That way we can all know how each other feels and reconcile and move forward. Basketball is such a sensitive area in our culture that we must approach it with extreme caution.

Yea, a little group therapy ought to flush these problems right out.
