Griff's Post Season Breakdown

Thanks, zans. I guess I was really assuming that Hall would develop some better post moves so we would distinctly have a center. I have no problem with Stokes & Maymon together, just wanted to offer another perspective.

Yeah, I feel you on Hall. I can't remember the last time UT had a center that could just go down on the block and do work. Chism was close but he was really always a PF playing out of position.

Duke crews possibly? Even he was more the build of a PF though probably. Hell, Kenny IMO is also undersized for a center. His height and arm length is good, but dudes about as skinny as Jordan McRae, really seems like he hasn't gained a pound since he got here.

If he was such a pot head like most say you'd think he'd have bulked up a bit in the last 3 years.

Running with Zans idea here from earlier in the year....if maymon can get a bit quicker defensively and develop that outside game you could see.

Golden
?
Maymon
Stokes
Kenny or Yemi

That'd give you that true C, plus get your 5 best on the floor at the same time. Obviously the biggest question is can maymon be effective at the 3, and do whats needed to become primarily a SF.

Steve Hamer. Brandon Crump maybe, though he was soft as cotton.

I never understood the Crews fascination. He was undersized at center and didn't have the skills for a PF. He was a 5* on some services I believe and yet I just never saw it.

The Marty Jane slowed him down, then that heart condition his junior year I believe.

I'm with you. Never understood the fascination. He was a 5* athlete and a 3* basketball player. Undersized for Center, not enough skills for either of the other two Forward positions. Heck of an athlete, great rebounder and energy player, pretty decent defender. No offense at all though.
