Grimm

That was weird too. But I meant right before Nick woke up and right after. It was just choppy and kinda off, and awkward. Almost like they were rehearsing reading lines, I just found it odd cause the dialogue usually flows pretty good. If you still have it recorded watch it and see what you think.

It was done on purpose. It was a group of people all wanting to tell him what happened but then all of them hesitating at the same time and/or interrupting each other.

They were doing it before too, and that wouldn't have anything to do with the way they were delivering their lines.

The last 2 episodes have been a little meh for me. Hopefully the 2 hour episode this week will kick it up a little. End the Adalind story already please, its getting painful to watch. The counsel thing at the end last week did spark my interest a little though.

Last couple episodes have been pretty good. I still want to know what the wesen see when they realize Nick is a Grimm. I honestly believe they see something that's more than just his normal face.

They only know when they "wesen" out, so I don't really understand it either.

It appears to be a real visceral response.
You'd think he could simply ask Rosalee or Monroe and they could tell him or something.

Well he is a Grimm and they are known for killing Wesens, so the response is expected. Lol Thanks btw I'm trying to think of possibilities and they sound stupid in my head. I mean obviously they only see him when they turn, which doesn't really make sense to begin with. Kind of like how they can Wesen out and people can't tell they are Wesen, unless they want them to see that they are Wesen. Never really understood that either.

So he can't see them until they woge out and they can't see him until they woge out so it stands to reason that by some definition Nick is a kind of wesen himself, or a creature of his own? Also, one thing the writers have stuck to is that the story is mostly told in Nick's perspective. So until he learns things about himself and the wesen world then we don't know it either.

That makes sense, a glimpse of what he looks like would be nice. Any theory on how Wesen even in Wesen form can hide it from normal people? Juliettes friend for example last week, she went Wesen and Juliette couldn't see, until later when she wanted her to see. That doesn't make sense to me. I do wish they would dive into the "history" of Grimm's a little more. How did Renard find out Nick was a Grimm? I can't remember, but he knew without revealing himself I do know that.

But the wesen know they wesen out. It's a move they make happen. Nick doesn't do anything to change and they immediately know he's a Grimm. How can that be explained?

I think when it comes to humans, Wesen reveal themselves only when they want the human to see it. Even when Wesen woge out in interrogation Hank doesn't see it. He always asks Nick what he just saw. I think Renard's knowledge of Nick came from intel, either from his own contacts or from others. I think Renard or Adelind was following Nick's aunt before she even got to Portland.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. I just don't get how they can choose people not to see it even when they are in Wesen form. Unless there is some variation they can show fellow Wesen, as opposed to humans. Different levels of Wesening perhaps? Actually that makes sense, I can't remember back that far to remember when Renard found out. Or if he just always knew.

Evidently somehow in Wesen form they see Nick in a different way. What that is, is anyone's guess.

Yeah, I just think it's kind of odd. I don't think he can be a type of Wesen if he doesn't actually morph himself into anything. Like you said, it's just that somehow Wesen see him as a Grimm when they are in Wesen mode. Would love to see all this stuff cleared up.

Monroe actually covered that in one of the 1st few episodes. There are 2 levels of "volge" The 1st level is visable to other wesen and Grimms. It is some sort mild change when they barely change or just are startled in to slipping up. I guess that is kinda like how you see the more timid ones volge when scared or first find out he's a Grimm. The 2nd level is a total full force change. Either they completely loose emotional control, or fully intend on being seen. As for how they know he's a Grimm, I dunno. Maybe there is something they see, or maybe they see his facial/eye reaction to their shift that he shouldn't be able to see. :dunno:

I don't mind if they give hints about what Nick looks like to wesen, but I kind of hope they never fully reveal how he looks to them; keep some things as mystery.

I was disappointed a bit in last night's episode. The previews built up Monroe's parents, but it turns out that whole scene where his dad goes off because he realizes Nick is a Grimm was literally the last scene of the episode.
