The worst part of the game was Jesse Palmer. Surely there is someone out there better than him. Is being on the Bachelor really enough to get him this job?

I honestly can't think of a worse commentator right now.

Good grief. I watched the first quarter of this game when Georgia Tech made Clemson look silly in every possible way before flipping over to the Titans/Steelers... then I check back in a couple hours later and it's a tie game at 27.

Clemson was unprepared and exploited in the first quarter. It was too much to overcome. Swinney was exposed.

GT's Nesbitt might be the worst downfield passer I've seen since Hi Lewis. Atrocious.

The ACC sucks.

It's amazing how GT keeps running it between the Guards over and over again whether it works or not.

Two reasons for that.

1) In an option offense, the first read will determine if the ball goes up the middle or not, and
2) With certain OCs, they'll use a certain play or type of play continuously to set up a huge play that starts the same. Nebraska used their basic double option to set up the FB trap up the middle, particularly against hard-charging defenses. For an example, pull out the 2000 Fiesta Bowl against Nebraska and watch Willie Miller go for about 60 yards before anyone on defense knows he has the ball.
