Also I might add, these types of games are pointless and it doesn't make JG a better or worse QB. It's all about how he progresses in Butch Jones offense, not the UA game's offense.

its about brand advertising, individual rankings, and highlights. the game is worthless

Exactly. Some of even the NFL's best QBs didn't play in the UA game. You can't judge a player on his performance in these types of games.

I can't help but think that JG has gotten the shaft for playing time in this game everything I have been seeing on all sites non TN writers was that he was far and beyond the best performer of all QBs throughout the week. How do you not get more PT with being the best performer?

The biggest news from this game is that Bama has 43 UAAAs on its roster Clemson has 9. Soonernation had 4 and Sparty had 2. How do you have half your scholarship players be UA all americans?

Because the sites skew their rankings towards Bama. It's all political.

I don't mean that all of their recruits are bumped because they go to Bama, but there are numerous times that a lower rated recruit commits to Bama and on the next update, the prospect is bumped significantly higher. They are playing for a NC again because they have a great coach with great talent. However, based on the numbers posted of quantity of HS All-Americans on that roster, they should never lose nor should any game be too close.

I agree. These kids only get to practice together for a few days. I never judge players by these all star games, especially QBs and WRs. There's just not enough time for QBs and WRs to gel for this game. I'm stoked about JG in this class. I can't believe some of the negative talk about him today. IMO Jarrett has the potential to be a big time QB for our Vols! I can't wait to see him in the Orange!
