Guess Where Mike Tannenbaum (ESPN) Projects Hendon Hooker To Be Drafted??

Hard to understand what teams see in Levis watched him several games and don’t see anything that looks like first round talent. He has size snd have seen comparisons to Big Ben but think he will be a big gamble in round 1 especially over HH
It really makes you question what we all saw. Levis was clearly banged up by the time we played him and he his team didn't help him much, but the man was flat out bad against us. Yet, he's almost universally seen as an early pick, so there must be something to it, right?

Voltopia,I cannot see anyone drafting Will(not)Levis over any qb in this draft.Picking him would just guarantee a new GM and Head coach.Locks on to receivers,Throws it late,Cannot read defensive changes. The DC's of the teams that play Levis will be like what Pete Rose used to say about playing the Atlanta Braves in the &0's,"Our batting averages will go up 20 points this weekend".

Has to be a secret metric only known by NFL GMs.

Tannenbaum put his life and job on the line writing this article. Am sure there will be a disciplinary meeting in Bristol about his future.

Assuming he survives, his future biography about not hating on the Vols while at ESPN and attempting a microdose of journalism should be a harrowing read.

Levis has the big arm and quick release so he can throw into tight windows. On the other hand he lacks the judgment to avoid closed windows. Seems like a first round pick is a big investment to make in a developmental project.

I think it’s just his size. Levis doesn’t have the intangibles of Hooker. I

Very interesting how he says the ACL injury will HELP Hook when it comes to the Seahawks taking him. Hope he's right. Want nothing but the best for him.
he didn't say it would help him he said because of it he is underscouted.. That only means the scouts don't have a good read on him and don't really know how to grade him and that's a knife that can cut both ways.

What i find most interesting in his mock is 3 vols in the top 25 picks...I could see a world where 2 or 3 Vols go first round but honestly, I think the most likely to do in the first round are Wright and Young. I think Hooker, Tillman and Hyatt have higher upside but they are progressively riskier. With Hooker does he recover from the ACL and can he make NFL reads? Tillman the only worry is recovery from injury and Hyatt is the biggest gamble of all but also the biggest payoff if he pans out. Young and Wright are good day-one starters at their ceiling and career backups at their floor. They both have great measurables, great tape, and no medical issues

I think tomorrow's pro-day results go a long way in determining how this all plays out..

Holy cow! He has three Vols in the first round? That would be incredible, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, from what I see here he was draft analyst for the Dolphins and the Jets, so....

I disagree, he's certainly first round CFL material. Wait, you said NFL? Someone is smoking a lot of crack if they think that. Like enough to make Tyrone Biggums jealous...
