Mantell then came out of the dressing room and clobbered Lawler with the ringside bell. Lance Russell was distraught.

A private company decides to let a Knoxville native go on their TV show for entertainment value. This event will have zero effect on the outcome of the game and not a single fan of college football will be harmed by it.

656 replies later there’s multiple e-fights in the comments section over who is more popular, who may or may not be a racist, someone who may or may not be too old, and people claiming they’re not going to watch ESPN now. I haven’t seen a Hitler reference yet, but I feel like it’s right around the corner.

Don't think he ever said it on TV, he was filmed by someone hiding in the bushes from across the street looking to get their 15min of fame and some money. The fact that people got mad at him is hilarious. The fact that he had to play to woke Nashville rules is not only degrading but sad as well.

Enjoy it while you can. The voice of reason is ending this evening (somewhere between 6:30pm - 7:30pm) when I’m tanked on $13 beers and lead the Volnation legion onto Shields-Watkins Field to either celebrate or fight Baby Billy.

Ah...now I see. No idea who that was until I searched and saw her bio. Knoxville gal. Gamecock, aggies and Vols. I'm guessing she'll be pulling for UT in this one since it was her final college stop. I'm ready for some good ol' UT favoritism from her.

That’s cool. Didn’t know that. (They must hold it in Iowa every year.) But the point stands that nationally pro rasslin’ is unfortunately far more popular than amateur wrestling. Not saying it’s right. It is what it is.
