Why not? They had Chris Beard on Gameday at Texas. Barnes or Vitello would be perfect. Both have the personality.

If I’m making decisions for ESPN, I’d go with TV. It would be great exposure for college baseball…which they should want to grow.

I like it…show how unified this athletics program is…and hammer home how Tennessee is good in all the major sports. Few programs in the country can match what UT is doing combined in football, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball.

Remember that the typical Gameday view is young. They don't wanna see the Osborne Brothers, Bill Dance, or even Dolly (God bless her). Vitello is probably the best way to sell the program and appeal to the typical viewer.
