Bob Kesling:
"Milton on 2nd and 4 fires a bullet over the middle and it's caught for a 1st down. Speaking of bullets, Vol fans, Smith and Wesson are focused on quality and providing the best bullets from Volunteers all around the world. 1st down coming up."
fixed it for you

I’ve seen liberal heads exploding. They are claiming it is socialism letting S & W have incentives to move to Blount. They don’t understand that 750 permanent workers pay income taxes and buy and build homes paying millions in property taxes every year. Plus millions in sales taxes. There’s also the $125 million invested in the facility. A $50,000,000 annual payroll and they are whining about S & W receiving tax free use of an undeveloped pasture. They are so stupid and so hateful.
Look no further than AOC's district celebrating the loss of all the AMZN jobs. Yeah... liberals is stoopid.

From the prices that Amazon is charging for stuff now days, I foresee them following the Sears business plan of failure. I've found that Walmart is nearly 30% cheaper on most anything that they both carry, and Walmart will deliver a lot of stuff within a couple of hours. Screw Amazon and Bezos.

Yeah maybe. I think he is a bit of a clown too, but AMZN will adapt if their bottom line shows any real pain. But the fact is that people are loyal to them at this point.

So currently there is no S&W tax base from which to levy tax revenues from so wouldn’t “break even” be year one with the level of normalization some period down the road? Honest question not trying to pin you down mcdaddio you’re more versed on this topic than I am.
I don't know. I formed my questions based on the subsidies and incentives offered to companies. Without knowing how much is offered by the city and county, no way of knowing the break even.

S&W will pay tax on property unless deferred.

It is socialism or government subsidy at least.

750 workers, if all were new to state, pay sales tax. Wonder what that amount is per year...$5,000?

750 x 5,000 = 3.75M per year. How long to recoup the subsidies?

Prop tax is 3k?

750 x 3,000 = 2.25m.

I do wonder what year is break even?

True but the plant being built will require subs and they will pay taxes and pay filings and need local lumber from the 84. They will also buy homes and realtors will be paid and owe taxes and homes will be built needing more subs and more material and these 750 people will generate new businesses such as restaurants and gas stations etc.

You are correct that it’s socialism but due to the state requiring a balanced budget the incentives must be net neutral. I think.

I’m glad this helps the financial health of Tennessee and I rather enjoy Guns. But a part of me resents the commercial development of the state. I love how rural most of it still is. I don’t want to see Tennessee turn into the concrete hell that North Texas has become

The NLI would be "on target".
Well Milton has no shot at that NIL endorsement.

Edit: Actually, if the kid is able to like a little fun at himself he would be perfect. Show Milton using the “other guy’s gun” which is video of him overthrowing a WR. Then show a S&W by showing Hooker hitting someone in stride. It’s perfect!

Milton should strike a deal with S&W to brand one of their firearms as The Cannon.

New tradition. Instead of the cheerleaders doing a push-up for each point scored, we give them all S&W revolvers and they fire off a shot (blanks of course) for each point scored. Of course, with Heupel’s offense, it might cost a lot $$$ in ammo

And we just HAVE to recruit a pair of running backs with last name “Smith” and “Wesson”
