Gunner Kiel to transfer to Tennessee???

Couldn't agree more. Indiana commit to Vandy (of all f-ing places) commit, to LSU, to Notre Dame's 4th string qb.... and now onto somewhere else. Anybody else see a pattern? Anybody else have a problem with this like me? Don't need the headache. I like the 4 kids we have right now and there are plenty of other qbs to be recruited without taking this mess on.

To me the kid thinks he should be handed a starting position and when that doesn't happen he splits. Spoiled punk imo that got over hyped and now thinks everything should be handed to him on a silver platter. Roll with the ones we got and forget about this chump.

serious question : what do you base any of this on?

Looks like he's basing his opinion on the kids track record of jumping around. Also, when he left LSU, Les Miles said the "kid didn't have the chest (heart) to play qb" for either LSU or in the SEC. I obviously don't know the kid, just putting 2 and 2 together

There was an article up here talking about his visit to Cincy last weekend. They felt like they have a good shot at landing him. Other than that I've heard nothing else.

I'm not sure he really so much "left" LSU unless what Chris Simms did qualified as having "left" Tennessee

actually the kid's first verbal was to Indiana till they scrapped their coaching staff

Kiel said "..... I'm doing what's in my best interest and to get on the field."

If that's the case, he likely won't come here and compete against 4 potentially very good QB's.

This is true but it will still be very good for us not so much him tho...

Anybody hear Andre Ware just say on CFL that he think Kiel comes to Tennessee? Thought that was interesting...

SN: sorry to stir something up. Just thought that would be an odd landing spot considering our QB depth

Edit: What they said ^^

Just release on ESPN that its possible he could land in Tennessee for his chance at a starting QB job???

Is he a fit > Discuss

Anytime a 5 star number one at his position wants to come to Tennessee; you make room for him at all costs.

I would trust whatever CBJ decided to do. The kid waffled in his recruitment now he wants to transfer. Sounds like a head case to me but if he convinced coach he can contribute, cool.
