Guts, Glory, Justin Worley

Worley is a pretty cool customer--not great physical tools, but does not seem to rattle easily. I wish he could change his throwing motion--but I doubt that it possible.

He was asked after the game at the press conference--and I was glad to hear it--if the coaches had talked to him about keeping the ball more on the read option, and I was very surprised to hear him say that they had not. He said that the reads have dictated the running back. I'm not sure I believe that he is actually making reads because he has handed it off 99.5 percent of the time this year, and I know he could have kept it for gains quite a few times.

Yep. Beat a ranked team. Made clutch throws when it mattered. Didn't turn the ball over.

Worley isn't in the same class talent wise, but those were Tee's strengths as well. Players like that are special, whether the box scores show it or not.

I am not going to down Worley for the qb he is and I am not going to glorify the qb he is. Worley is adequate as a qb, he is smart and protects the ball. but he is also very streaky. yet he seems to be completing passes in the second half he couldn't in the first the last few weeks. Nerves????? I think so. great win today

lol Blaming Bray when the O scored 30 some odd points per game for us being losers last year. Bunch of idiots.

That said, Worley has made some clutch plays since the 2nd half started vs Georgia. Hopefully he keeps it up.
