Several PSU posters claim Franklin will be given an interview for the Eagles job --- however, its just to 'satisfy' that Rooney Rule the NFL has - why even have the rule if they arent serious about hiring the guy ? He's a good salesmen and somewhat decent motivator. After that it stops. Maryland AD not retaining him after he was given coach in waiting title spoke volumes.
