He was projected to play either SS or OLB.

If he turns out to be as good as Joe, then it's definitely our loss.

Not mentioned in the article so I take it we're not in consideration?

As far as I know he didn't consider us the first time around. I doubt he'll get a release to another SEC or Florida school. I think he had a fair amount of interest in Virginia Tech.

His release is unconditional, he can go wherever he wants.

That was Joe Haden in '08. The Kent/Wright collision was in '95.

Crompton got up and started talking smack to Major Wright, thinking he had clocked him instead of Haden.

Still don't know a lot about this. Speculation after hearing Meyer talk was that distance to home was a factor, and the pressure of playing in his brother's big shadow were issues bothering him it appears.

Meyer and Jordan parted amicably. Unconditional release.

Not said yet...it just said he was granted his release to be closer to home.
