That ought to quiet Mullen down for about 9 months, they got caught looking to the Benz Bowl next week and the bright lights and national attention that accompanies a trip to the championship game, they will still be there, but the outcome is meaningless and the topic will be the LSU loss not the championship game against Alabama.

Probably cost Trask a Heisman run, he may still get an invite to the ceremony along with the QBs from Clemson and Alabama, but he won't win now.

This loss doesn't really hurt Fl. A win over Alabama Saturday would put them in the playoffs anyway I feel. SEC is getting 1 for sure. If ND beats Clemson then the SEC might get 2. Who knows what they are going to do with Ohio State playing such a weak limited schedule, I hope they go ahead and have their early season loss their next game.
