They've played in 3 BCS bowls (and won 2) since we last have. They've played for 4 SEC titles (and won 2) since we last won. They've won 9 of the last 13 in the series, they've beaten UF since we last did, they've won 10 games multiple times since we last did, they've won a bowl game period since we last did. They've out recruited us multiple times.

In conclusion, the knocks on Richt are unsubstantiated and we can only wish our coaches and teams would have experienced the same success that Richt and UGA have enjoyed over the last decade. You look like a bumbling idiot when you try to discount what they've done.

Because they have one of the most fertile high school programs in the nation and have zero crystal footballs to show for it. Over the years, many of our best players have come from Georgia.

And how many have we won in that same time period? I don't understand gaining satisfaction because a rival program hasn't won a NC while at the same time we haven't even been competitive on the field with that same program.

We have a crystal football. They have zero.

Heck, we even have an all-time winning record against Georgia.

I want Richt to stay in place because he is a massive underachiever. You want Richt to stay in because he is a good coach. So we want the same thing.


Mark is an outstanding Christian man and I wish him the best.......(and I hope he keeps that UGA job for another 20 years)

Sorry, perhaps I misunderstood your question.....are you asking, "what is our record against Georgia since 1998 (when we won the NC). I don't know? We can look it up. Perhaps .500 ish? Beats me. This really isn't a great era for us.

I was making the point of how many crystals do we have since Richt took over (2001). Zero, the same as them. Hell, how many SEC's do we have since Richt took over. Zero. And as far as record goes he's 8-4 against us. So I don't get the massive underachieving aspect of his coaching career and even if I did, is that supposed to make me feel better about our team because we also suck?

I'm a UT fan and therefore don't really care what UGA does with Richt. However, I don't believe they'll find anyone who can do much more overall and much more vs us than Richt already has. If anything, we should want CMR out of there and hope they replace him with a Dooley-esque hire.

Do you happen to know a UGA fan? If so, ask him if they have underachieved.

I am thinking more in the big scheme of things.....not really Uga vs Vols.

I don't really care one way or the other either about Uga so we are spending too much time chatting about them.
