That was an exciting game, but the UNC grad I work with will be absolutely insufferable tomorrow.

By my calculations we have beaten UK the past 46 games.

Making up stuff is fun.

I know that we lead the overall series with Kentucky and we double the amount of SEC championships they have...I bet they wish they had been to as many Final Fours as we have as well.

Oh well we will just have to extend the streak of 46 straight this year.

Theme of Basketball threads: Someone gives love to Bruce Pearl. Hat steps in and shows his hatred for Bruce, obviously jealous of his incredible tanning booth skills. person calls hat out as a hater. Hat retaliates by correcting said persons grammar or throwing stats out that only hat knows. Said person comes back at hat by saying he isn't a true Vol fan. Hat call him stupid without actually saying the words. Said person throw 3-4 more insults out. Hat sends out the bat signal to alert all his friends who show up to support hats arguments. both realize they still support the same team even though they call each other mean names. hugs all around. Someone says Pearl is the best coach UT has ever had..... repeat cycle again.

UNC will be vastly improved by the end of the season, also UNC has played one of the top 5 hardest schedules in the country, not sure if we would be undefeated if we played Vanderbilt at a neutral site, Illinois on the road, or Kentucky at home. They need to bench Larry Drew and play Kendrick Marshall, also they will need to make Harrison Barnes realize he needs to pass/rotate the basketball when being double and triple teamed. I don't know if Tennessee could have gone into Chapel Hill and won that game, although 1/2 of our team would have not fouled out due to Calipari only playing 8 players in an incredibly physical game.

That being said, Tennessee is a better team than Kentucky and Roy Williams exploited Kentucky's weaknesses (no true pg when Knight is out of the game, Jones poor free throw shooting, no dominating big man in the paint). If Kanter is eligible, that may change things, but he's not, nor will he be eligible in the forseeable future. We will beat Kentucky, our guards will control Lamb and Knight and we will wear them down with our depth, fast pace, and cause them to get in serious foul trouble. Plus, the first game is in Knoxville, so we will have the home court advantage.

John Wall tried to go 90 feet to the rim for the game and amare stoudemire blocked the ball into the 5th row. Welcome to the NBA Mr. Wall.

I won't laugh at kentucky losing, because we're bound to lose a couple we shouldn't. But i will laugh at the kentcuky fan's perpetual inferiority complex. They're like the Texas Tech of the SEC... it's pathetic.

Yeah all those Final Fours, SEC titles and National Championships make them just like Texas Tech.

I hat UK but that comment makes no sense.

My real hero was Andy Jackson and he used to spell the same word three different ways in the same letter, and he became President of the United States. I just want to be Governor..... :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol:
I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume you're not of Cherokee descent.

I disagree. It would be almost impossible to lose before conference play :)
