Hail to the Washington Commanders

If it makes you feel any better, the Cowboys are in a same boat. We are still not a serious team with Bledsoe playing like he is. He just has more chances to get bailed out...

Not sure what game you watched Milo, but Bledsoe had a pretty good game last night.

The Boys dropped 8-10 passes that should have been caught. Had they caught those, he would have had a GREAT night.

The touch he put on those long passes he made, is better than any backup in the league has.

Bledsoe will lead this team to 10+ wins this season, easy.

I promise you Parcells isn't "looking" to replace him, either.

Something I'm curious about... why, oh why, does Brunell and his weak old arm drop back like 10 to 15 yards on every passing play?

I think the big question is, why is Brunell and his weak old arm doing anything at all? He's gotta go.:ermm:

I'm curious as to why Washington didn't blitz more. Bledsoe can at least do a decent job of picking a defense apart when he doesn't have pressure... But he is terrible when under it. Dallas will not make it through the playoffs with quarterback play like that, and this is definitley a team with Super Bowl aspirations.

My only explanation for not blitzing is Springs being out. I never thought the Skins would fall apart if Springs was out for a couple of games, but that's what seems to be happening. That and Rogers isn't living up to his expectations yet. Throw in Rumph getting burned on every other play and I think it's pretty obvious. It's a totally different defense without Springs and it's an entirely different offense without Portis.

the redskins are in for a long road this season i'm afraid....

Hey man, at least the Skins managed 10 points in their game. That's 10 more than what the Steelers have scored in 3 quarters. :neener:

What were you disgruntled Washington fans saying about Brunell? :p

Yeah, he really lit that tough Texan defense up.

I'll give him credit when he earns it, but I think having Portis back really took some pressure off of him as well.

I'm just glad to see the Skins have a decent day, but I still stand by my position on Brunell.

Look on the bright side, the Titans are on the schedule. He should have at least one more game like today.

Sounds like my Redskins are taking it to the Jags right now!!!!! :dance2::dance2::dance2:

15 first downs to Jacksonville's 5 so far. 20-17 at the start of the fourth and the Skins are on the Jag's 14 yardline. Woooo

Have to hold them to FG right here....:rock::rock::rock:
